I need to unlock code to be able to use a Cingular phone. I have an ATT simcard, but want to use it on the Motorola v551 Cingular phone. IMEI 351509001524540. (USA) Thanks!

I'm confused...what do you need to unlock? If you wanna unlock a Motorola, you came to the wrong place...

And if you wanna unlock your 6200, how does that pertain to you using your AT&T SIM card on a V551?

You don't have to do anything to your 6200 in order to use the SIM card in the V551:rolleyes: Just move the SIM card and it's done...

The thing is the ATT simcard on a Cingular phone aren't compatible. I need to unlock the phone to be able to use it.

Have you tried calling cingular for the code?

Yeah...I called and they wouldn't give it to me! They won't let me migrate over to Cingular, because I still have about a year left on my contract. :mad:

Actually, who was it that told me, but T-Mobile will unlock any phone...not just their own. I forgot what was the one restriction, but of course you (or the person you're asking to do the favor) has to have been a customer for 90 days at least and at least 90 days have passed since your last unlock request...
