My mates just got a v3 razor....

is there any software that can be downloaded on the net to allow video capture?

Yes. You don't download the software, but programs and get seems from teh phone, modify them, then put them back on the phone. You can find more info and instructions at http://www.motomodders.net/Default.aspx?g=posts&t=2144. Make sure you read through the other posts so you have a better knowledge on what you're doing before you break the phone. http://www.motomodders.net/Default.aspx?g=posts&t=3631 will teach you how to mod the phone properly.

You could also flash a monster pack onto the phone that will give you the video capabilities. www.motox.us is a great site and there you can find monster packs, just look for one that says video capable. There is also a guide for flashing your phone there with pictures so it's really easy to follow. Make sure you back up your phonebook first and charge the battery fully. Be very careful.
