Well thanks for the effort, but the other codes... the wrong ones... took up most of my tries, so now i cant unlock it.. and whts worse is AT&T is a bitch about unlocking phones and say they cant do it.. they wouldnt tell me why.. i also heard this phone is very hard to unlock, so thanks for the effort, but it seems i dont need it anymore. Is there anyway to get it off of this lockdown mode so i can put in this code? Or am i just SOL?

It's not about whether I say it's ok, it's just that code-gen you are using, I have never got working. It seems to guess the correct models, etc. but then the codes don't work - that's why I haven't posted any codes myself because I'm not confident they'll work and I'm pretty sure Nokia is fiddling something somewhere down the line, because all my recently acquired phones don't want to unlock (7600, 7110, 6310i, 6230, etc.).

Here is how to enter your code once you have it:

Power off phone and REMOVE SIM
Power phone back on without sim
Push #
Push * key 3 times (you will see p)

Push the * ket 2 times (you will see +)
Type the lock digit (this will typically be 7)

6620 using AT&T is an odd beast. I was able to successfully unlock it using the offline NokiaFree/CRux calculator. Thanks nottyma.

I had to use expert mode with Network Code - 31038, Phone Type - ASIC 2, Code GEN ASIC 6 / 32381. Passwd #1 worked.

CRux and others think the Code GEN is v2 32835 and/or a ASIC 6 phone.

I guess I'd expect it to be a ASIC 6 phone with the stock V2 code gen scheme. What gives with this phone?

Unlocking a DCT3 Nokia 2100

Yes, I know I'm behind the times, but I'm having problems with my (Australian) Telstra Nokia 2100. I've found out the IMEI, punched it into two seperate unlockers online and successfully unlocked the phone.

Prob is, it won't take my brand new UK Fresh Simcard (which piggy backs on the T-Mobile network).

I'm too tight to buy a new phone basically.

Anyway, does anyone know if Telstra in Australia has a GID1 so I could try lock 2?

If anyone's interested, the IMEI is 351523002242457, the Network is 50501 and the code for lock 1 is #pw+4512404576+1#, but like I say, sim card registration is still failing for my new SIM.

it might seem that you are entering the code wrong coz you can only have 5 tries and you must unlock it using cable. now if you have tried it 7 times, there might be an error in the way you enter it. try to read some faqs here.

when the last is wrong, you can no longer attempt to unlock the phone using the remote unlocking method (where you put them codes in). to unlock it you have to take it to someone with a cable clip thing which can unlock it. you can still unlock your fone, but you cannot unlock it using the codes.
