Welcome to MobileBurn Forums!!!
We thought to start an unlocking post here in the Nokia forums. Simply post your Provider name (and country), IMEI, and Phone Model. An unlock code will be posted if it's possible in the thread.

Since this service is FREE, please do not ask repeatedly or PM the mods with questions. They will ignore you :)

Here is how to enter your code once you have it:

Power off phone and REMOVE SIM
Power phone back on without sim
Push #
Push * key 3 times (you will see p)
Push * key 4 times (you will see w)
Push * key 2 times (you will see a +)
Enter the 15 digit code
Push the * ket 2 times (you will see +)
Type the lock digit (this will typically be 7)
Push #
That's it - The phone should display "Phone restrictions off"

when phone si permanently locked it means you cannot be unlocked it with a code
whan you need a cable, it means you need a cable :)

yes phone is woking on orginala sim, and permanent lock doesnt do anything but disable code unlock, phone is working.

hmmm i insered my pin and it was an error... i restarted the phone and instead of normal "boot" it displayed this: Contact Service.

Ta, but doesn't work. I get "Cannot undo restriction" :( I (stupidly) let a bloke at work try, he said he had the software to generate the codes. When that didn't work, I posted on here. It looks to me like he's tried five duff codes, not the two he told me about. FFS. Oh well, hopefully someone at the market in town has the right cables etc. to sort it :(

1. why you generate codes and you dont know nothing about unlocking?
2. why you enter codes in row starting whit +1# when only +7# is working for you.

1. I found the software free and thought what the heck, generating the codes is easy enough, and it seemed obvious to not have a sim card in the phone to unlock so had a go.
2. I actually started from 7 first and then went backwards ( i had no idea you could only enter it 5 times though, gutted)
3. what is the right +7 anyway, because its a contract phone and i can always say i lost it and claim insurance, thus get new one and unlock that one properly, and flog the other one to someone who has a cable
4. 3. i dont get, why do you need the correct 7 because if you get a new phone this "correct" one for this phone is not working ehit other phone so its useless

heres what i say. your codes is 1. not 7 or 5 etc. but you have on of those phones whitch doesnt accept codes. evern if the code is right phone doesn accept it just switch to insert sim

so, cable solution i guess..

or maybe.. put a non accepted card, and when asks for code give the +1# code. this maybe will work..i dont know.

I barely realized something. Since it is Cingular, don't go trying to unlock it and risking hardlock, because Cingular phones are already unlocked! Just try and put in a T-Mobile SIM card for example and it should work...
