Need advice from all you mobile buffs out there ;)

I currently own a Nokia 6100 and love it to bits its simple nice design lightweight is everything I love about a phone.
We have done away with land lines in house so only means of comms now is mobile phone my mum has recently bought a Siemens A60 and it is pretty crap but what you expect for £15?? but she isn't happy as this she tells me is her life line :)
My plan is to sell her my 6100 for say £30 :D and me upgrade to something abit more jazzy but am clueless what to look at don't want to be paying major amounts max of say £50 but may go higher if I really like it. I have been looking at the Moto E398 but in past have never got on with Moto navigation system and also it looks very bulky.

Does anyone have any suggestions??

TIA!

Are you planning to get it from your telco or just from a store unlocked? Because £50 would seem pretty cheap for a "jazzy" phone...clarify my confusion:p

Btw, who's she?

I'm not sure about prices so don't book me on these...

IMO, some good upgrades from the 6100 would be the 3220 (if you wanna keep the candybar form) or 6101 (if you want to explore the clamshell form)...I haven't seen the latter in person but the 3220 could definitely rival the size of the 6100, along with youth-centric design if you're into that. The 5140i would be a good upgrade as well, but right now it's in limited quantities I think...look into the 6030 as well (very basic phone).

If you want to explore other brands, perhaps someone else might like to advise you on that...I'm more Nokia-centric:p

I'd plump for a second hand handset - if willing to import some seriously good refurb deals from some reputable UK sites. VGA cam BT, etc... if interested google refurb if willing to take a small scratch on battery or side even cheaper...

thanks guys 3220 looks real wierd to me! 6101 wouldn't mind trying not ever been one for clam phones but would try a nokia but expensive so is the 6030.
Anyone used the 6610i any opinions looks pretty good.

666joe what do you mean?

What about the 6020?

IMO the 6610i is basically a 6100 with a camera...the 6100 and 6610 were barely any different...if you're okay with that, then go for it...
