Converting Phones

Is it possible to use a GSM Phone on a differnt network.. IE GSM ON IDEN :confused:

I want the New Razor Phone but I am with Nextel. Is it possible at all. Or even use any non IDEN phones???

no its not . iden is an entirely different kettle of fish compared to gsm networks

and its razr not razor.

With Nextel, you're pretty much stuck with what they offer...if you want the RAZR, go with Cingular or T-Mobile:rolleyes:

yea atleast with its quadband functionality it does away with the need for bothering about bands.

So much so a friend who bought a razr from here n took it the states ( he is on cingular ) and a total noob about such things suddenly found he had full coverage at his place from the regular 2 bars he had been living with it for last so many yrs. guess its the 850 effect

It's funny cause at my house, I get full service whereas my aunts on Cingular get fringe service or even have to roam on T-Mobile:rolleyes:
