hey fellas, u can now order the phone in demand N90 at www.no-air-time.com. The 'add to cart' option is working and it says available infront of status. Also SE W800 is available with the same site. I hope this site is'nt a scam.

I'm waiting a month or so for the price to drop a $100 - $200. If you look how the 8800 started off, the price was around $1200 now you can get it around $850 - $950.
Another reason I'm waiting is to get some user reviews before I drop some bills on this phone. But it is a very nice phone!

sleepless nights. and cigars all over... haha. maybe you are right. waiting... waiting... ;)
yeah. it's probably a good idea to wait until the first price drop after it's been taken up by a local carrier.

I say 40 - 50 days would be enough time for the price to drop $100 - $150. That's just my opinion. :D

just wondering, how would battery life be like on the n90 if it is used as a mp3 player? 10 hours?

that we will see. haven't got any reviews about how long the unit can last if alone used as an MP3 player. maybe it will depend on how loud the volume is and the quality of the song being played. ask moby about this.
I am hoping that nokia will release a mp3 phone which can last for abt 10 hours. My current phone, mitsubishi m900, can only last abt 5 hours

There already is one...the N91, which can last at least 15 hours, if not more:rolleyes: I'm too lazy to look it up...

Yeah, at first the W800i was tempting, but now it's so boring...if Sony Ericsson hadn't made the phones so boring and common, I would've considered forgoing S60 for them:rolleyes:

Well, the 6230(i) can pull in about 10 hours on MP3 playback already but they're not smartphones.
I still wonder if the N90 has the elusive vibrating alert people have been very divided on?

There's no offline/airplane mode on the 6230(i) is there?
Heh we're still divided cause Nokia still hasn't released it...I hope we can find out for sure for sure by August at least!

Out of all the reviews (so far...Michael's will of course be the best!:D), the one from My-Symbian is truly the best...I like how he doesn't concentrate so much on its size and weight (seeing as how he doesn't mind it) but still admits to it being an uncomfortable phone for others...that's true reviewing skills. OBJECTIVENESS!

very unique and concise review. a two-page review has them all. I like the introduction even if it deals with technical details. but it's clearly understood. awesome review. three thumbs up.

On WirelessImports.com (http://www.wirelessimports.com/ProductDetail.asp?ProductID=502) it says "Vodafone Branding"...shouldn't that mean that it should already have been out in Europe?
