v600 isnt due for release til 19th of jan in the uk due to some small software glitches. We'll be stocking it.

i have some questions about the V600:

- CALENDAR: is it good? is there a kind of "birthday-list" like in the newer nokias? can I set monthly, weekly appointments?! is there a limit of number of entries in the calendar (like in the newer samsung e.g. limit of 30 entries!!)?

- ALARM: can I set up for example that the alarm rings from monday to friday at the same time (like in SEM t610 or samsung)?

- is there a feature to write NOTES?

- are there also: stoppwatch, countdown and calculator?

- is it possible to record something and to set it up as a ringtone or SMS-alert?!

The release date of the V600, according to O2, has now been put back to 31/12.

Anyone have any US info for release dates of the v600? (And if it's going to be released for any carriers but AT&T Wireless?) Any glimmer of hope you can give me for ever owning this phone would be great.

Australian release date is 28th of January.

If you want to find out what the phone is like pick up a V525 at a Vodafone retailer, it is almost exactly the same except for exchangeable covers, video streaming and a flashy light.

If anyone know where there is a V525 for sale in Australia, I'd be interested. Been looking for a shop (well, in Sydney anyway) that have one, but everywhere I've called (all Vodafone stores) don't have one and have no idea when they will get some more.

I even called Vodafone themselves. In a way, the release date of the v600 being the end of January kinda made it a bit easier. Now all I have to do is find a shop that will have a v600 at the end of Jan.....

Anyone know how much it will retail for in Aus and who will have them, please let us all know :D
